Studio

With a focus on residential design, the studio’s approach combines instinct with intention, creating carefully edited interiors that feel personal, livable, and collected over time. We aim to create spaces that are elevated yet approachable - sophisticated without feeling untouchable. Thoughtful architecture, considered proportion, and natural materials provide the foundation, while antiques, contemporary pieces, and unexpected details bring depth, character, and interest. The result is an interior that feels both fresh and enduring - a layered backdrop to a life well lived, designed to become more meaningful with time.

Mara Silber grew up in Cleveland, in a city built on craftsmanship, resourcefulness, and unpretentious hospitality - values that continue to shape her warm, genuine approach to design. She studied interior design and art history at George Washington University before beginning her career in New York City as a design consultant. In 2010, she joined Mark Cunningham Inc., an Architectural Digest AD100 firm, bringing an unpretentious, detail-driven approach to high-end residential projects featured in Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, and Interior Design, among others.

In 2015, Mara opened her own studio, taking on residential and hospitality projects across the country. She lives in Westchester with her husband and three children.
